まだ本当に出たばっかりの書評だ。

Paul and the Faithfulness of God (クリスチャン・センチュリー誌、2014年10月16日)

少し内容について引用してコメントしようとしたら、「閲覧回数制限に達しました」みたいな表示が出て見られなくなってしまいました。

 

それで凡その印象的なコメントだけ、一つ二つ。

 

①アポカリプティック陣営

 

　ようやく、少し（と言うかかなり）批判的な書評が出た、と言う感じ。

　ニジェイ・グプタによると、パウロ解釈の一つの線引きテーマは、

“Paul and Apocalyptic” camp (Lou Martyn, de Boer, Kaesemann, Gaventa, Barclay, etc.) – a group that Wright has quite strong (negative) feelings about regarding how they read Paul. 

になるとのこと。

　ブラウンなんて学者初耳だし、彼女のものは全然読んだことがないので分からないが・・・。

 

②「契約」枠組み

 

　ブラウンの立場からは、使徒パウロは「アポカリプティック」な世界観的変革によって、最早イスラエル契約には縛られない神学をパウロが持っている、と解釈するようだ。

 

　それでライトの「契約」枠組みに基づく『真の捕囚からの帰還』や『契約の更新』などは必要ない、と言うことのようだ（最後の２段落）。

Recent European Philosophy's Turn to St. Paul

I mentioned Alain Badiou in this blog before (here and here).

I was just listening to this video below in which NTW discusses some of the recent and contemporary backgrounds of Pauline studies.

In relation to the Pauline Studies themes, Paul and Philosophy and Paul and Politics, NTW mentions some of the names of what I called Recent European Philosophy's Turn to St. Paul: Giorgio Agamben, Slavoj Žižek, (and of course) Alain Badiou, and Jacob Taubes.
