God and the Faithfulness of Paul

アマゾン日本では16,730円もするこの本、とても手が出ない。

が、全部で30本ほどの論文のタイトルに目を通し、論文寄稿者の豪華な顔ぶれとカバーされている範囲を知るだけでも益を感じることが出来るのではないかと思い、以下に紹介します。

ライトのPFGも巨大だが、このGFP論集もかなりの厚さになるようだ。

編者の一人Christoph Heiligさんがインタヴューを受けているが、そこでこの論集にまつわる色々なエピソードを紹介している。

インタヴューはドイツ語なので、グーグル翻訳で英訳したものを読んだ。

結構読めるものだ。

その中でドイツのNPP受容とその中でライトがまだ無名な状況であることが言われている。

さらにライトのパウロ解釈が及ぼした影響を要約している部分があるので抜粋しておく。

It should not happen (but it is already happening) that German-language discussions on the NPP do not even name the name Wright - although he is again the name given to this paradigm.

But exegetical works on individual areas of Pauline theology will have to deal with the fact that Wright throws the classical analysis on top of systematic theological topoi and introduces a completely different, early-Jewish system from his point of view. So we will no longer be able to write without any discussion about the "ecclesiology" or "soteriology" of Paul as if it were clear from the outset that this is an adequate, non-anachronistic category for the understanding of the object.

とまあ、ライトは「初期ユダヤ教の枠組みを従来の組織神学的解釈上に投げつけ」たみたいなことを言っており、「それまで教会論とか救済論とかあたかもパウロが実際に使っているカテゴリーであるかのように議論することはもはや出来ないだろう」とも言っていますね。

論文集にはドイツの学者の名前が何人も入っているだけでなく、韓国の方も二人入っています。国際色が豊かですね。

（※） マークした二人のドイツ人学者は、今回の論文集の中でもChristoph Heiligさんが格別感銘を受けたほどライトと真剣に向き合っている労作だ、と評しているものです。

あっとそれから、寄稿者の中にエディンバラ大の方が3名いるが、大学サイトでこの本への貢献を紹介しているページがあるのでそれも一応紹介しておく。
